Express Gear up for the Second Game of a Back-to-Back

Summary
No rest for the Express, who less than 24 hours ago pulled out a grueling victory against the Surrey Eagles in the third period, and now face the Chilliwack Chiefs in the mighty Chilliwack Coliseum. This is game one of the season for Chilliwack, who look to start strong after being eliminated in the second round of last years BCHL playoffs. As for Coquitlam, this game has been circled on the calendar ever since the Chiefs took down the Express in the first round of the previous postseason in a 5 game series. Coquitlam will look to tidy up some defensive blemishes shown last night at South Surrey Arena, but one thing they hope won’t change was the dominance of the first line. Chase Valliant, Justin Ivanusec, and Brendyn Van Oene combined for a whopping 8 points on the evening, and were the biggest factor in Coquitlam’s win. The Express also have reinforcements, with forward Nishaan Parmar returning from a one-game suspension.
