After Lapid resigned from the jury at the Marseille Film Festival due to a boycott by pro-Palestinian filmmakers, hundreds of leading filmmakers, including Justine Treille ("Anatomy of a Fall") and Jacques Audiard ("Emilia Perez"), published a letter condemning the boycott: "His resignation is worrying, no matter what crimes their country commits."
