Search and exhumation work for the remains of Polish soldiers has begun in the former village of Zboiska, now within the city limits of Lviv. Specialists from Poland and Ukraine are conducting the work. In September 1939, the Polish army, commanded by Colonel Stanisław Maczek, fought fierce battles there against the Wehrmacht.
