HRANA – At dawn today, Tuesday, September 2, a prisoner who had previously been sentenced to death on a murder charge was executed in Zanjan Prison. The prisoner hanged has been identified by HRANA as Bijan Hosseinpanah (Hossein-Panah). Based on information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Hosseinpanah had earlier been arrested on charges of murder and subsequently sentenced to death by the Criminal Court.
