- On Thursday, the United States sanctioned UK-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood official Mahmoud al-Abyari and CJNG leader Juan Carlos González, targeting their roles in financing terrorism and narco-trafficking networks.
- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated the administration will "relentlessly pursue terrorists and those who finance them," vowing to dismantle financial systems sustaining Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
- Officials designated 3 individuals and 3 entities, including Gaza-based Madad Palestine Charitable Society and Indonesia-based Tujah Bulah Global, for operating as "charitable facades" to funnel money to Hamas.
- Under Executive Order 13224, the U.S. core counterterrorism sanctions authority, all property interests within U.S. jurisdiction are blocked and transactions involving designated individuals and entities are prohibited.
