Bloomberg, two trading firms agree to pay Trump’s Truth Social for faster access to president’s posts: Report
Bloomberg and two high-frequency trading firms are paying up to $100,000 a month for earlier access to Trump’s Truth Social posts, Reuters reported.
- On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Truth Social signed Bloomberg, Susquehanna International Group, and Jump Trading to provide faster access to President Donald Trump's posts for up to $100,000 monthly.
- The Truth API service provides subscribers a millisecond timing advantage, allowing software to read and execute trades in thousandths of a second to react instantly to market-moving presidential announcements.
- Clients pay between $60,000 and $100,000 monthly, while Trump Media has lost about $1.76 billion since 2024 and shares have fallen more than 50% this year, driving the company to monetize its platform.
- Intercept Media and the Freedom of the Press Foundation sued in August, describing the paid service as "profoundly corrupt," while Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Adam Schiff requested a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation.
- A TMTG spokesperson stated critics "mischaracterize" the Truth API as industry-standard, while White House spokesman Davis Ingle maintained President Trump acts in the public interest; Bloomberg, Jump Trading, and Susquehanna declined to comment.
