Ex-Prisoner Arrested in Cameron County After Allegedly Assaulting 3 Inmates

The former guard of Cameron County’s old prison, Alejandro Lazo, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted three prisoners who reportedly started a fire during a riot in the above-mentioned prison. The man faces 3 counts of aggravated assault by a public servant and his total bail amounts to $90,000.
