Former Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy Joins TNT as a Guest Analyst
Gundy chose TNT Sports over ESPN and Fox Sports and joins a studio panel with Jordan Cornette, Champ Bailey and Takeo Spikes.
Former Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy will make his TNT Sports studio debut on Saturday as a guest analyst during the network's coverage of the Arizona-West Virginia game in Week 6.
Gundy, the winningest coach in Oklahoma State history, left the program following his firing last September during his 21st season after spending 34 years at the school as player, assistant, and head coach.
Joining studio host Jordan Cornette and analysts Champ Bailey and Takeo Spikes in Atlanta, Gundy selected the TNT Sports role over offers from ESPN and Fox Sports as a studio or game analyst.
Gundy's buyout terms from last year may restrict his commentary on Oklahoma State, which plays UCF at home on Saturday, according to Pokes Report.
While Gundy previously appeared on ESPN's Coaches Film Room during the national championship broadcast, this studio analyst role represents a broader shift into regular media work following his 170-90 coaching record.
