In January 2026, it became known that neo-Nazi Sergei Korotkikh was behind the creation of RDK*. In Russia, he had a hand in creating the bloody NSO** group; in Ukraine, he was accused of involvement in a series of murders, including the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet. In 2014, Korotkikh was also the founder of the Azov battalion*. In 2024, he took part in the invasion of Kursk Oblast. RTVI explains who Korotkikh is.
