The third stage of the Tour of Catalonia brought the first exciting events. Remco Evenepoel attempted an attack, but crashed on the final roundabout, just before the finish line, so the stage winner was decided by a sprint finish, in which Frenchman Dorian Godon (Ineos Grenadiers) was the strongest for the second time in the race.
Frenchman Dorian Godon won an extremely exciting 3rd stage of the Tour of Catalonia, which was full of action and no shortage of crashes - Remco Evenepoel also fell just before the finish line.
In the third phase of Catalunha, Almeida was again caught in a court, when Evenepoel attacked Vingegaard. Belgium fell to the end, Denmark was reached and Godon won again.
The Belgian Olympic champion made a huge number, with Jonas Vingegaard on his luggage rack, before falling to 500m from the finish on Wednesday.
