Evacuations have been ordered after a grass fire broke out Friday afternoon in Garland. The fire, which can be seen off Interstate 84, started just after 4 p.m.
GARLAND, UTAH – The Garland Fire Department responded this Friday to a weed fire on Harley Drive, which led authorities to order immediate evacuations for residents of the area. According to Utah Fire Info, the fire, called Harley Fire, has consumed more than 75 acres and burns north of Tremonton and west of Garland, near Interstate 15. Warm, dry conditions and gusts of wind contributed to its rapid expansion.
