The snowstorm is paralyzing Västernorrland, and especially the eastern parts. Bus traffic in the Sundsvall area is canceled, train traffic is having major problems and some schools are closed. SMHI has now upgraded the weather warning for the Ångermanland coast to red – the strongest level.
All of Sweden is covered in snow, according to SMHI's map. Within a couple of days the snowstorm is expected to subside, and for the first time this year all of Sweden will be without warnings.
