Decline in European travelers to U.S.

The number of travelers from the Netherlands to the US has decreased significantly last month. While in March last year 105,000 people crossed the big pond from the Netherlands for a trip to the US, this number was less than 92,000 last month.

The United States is recording a significant decline in travellers from Europe. Economic Week reports on the corresponding figures of the US Trade Administration. Therefore, the reluctance from Germany is particularly high.

Numbers are based on data from the International Visitor Arrivals Program (ADIS I-94), which as the name suggests, tracks the number of people arriving at air and sea ports.
