European Union Renewed Fisheries Agreement with São Tomé and Príncipe

According to a communication from the European Commission, which does not specify which Member States are involved, the new four-year protocol will allow EU vessels to fish around 6,500 tonnes of tuna and other migratory species per year in the waters of São Tomé and Príncipe. The new Protocol will be applied provisionally from today and will enter into force as soon as the process of ratification by both parties is completed.
