Space is a sector of the future, it gives new capacities and perspectives and European countries are preparing themselves, both at budget level and at regulatory level. It says the Director of Internal Affairs of Esa (the European Space Agency), Marco Ferrazzani, during an event of "Voci dal futuro" organized by ANSA and Asvis where it talks about the new space economy and the new potential for telecommunications and land observation.
On Thursday, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the European Space Agency (ESA), whose founding document was signed on 30 May 1975, the Ministry of Infrastructure responsible for Space Agents announced a small increase in the Austrian budget. Experts see this as a positive signal, even if the potential to be exploited is far greater. ESA Director Josef Aschbacher underlined that more effort is needed in Europe as well.
