Europe agrees to tighten its law to combat microplastic pollution
The European Commission, MEPs and Member States reached a compromise on the night of Tuesday, 8 April, to Wednesday, 9 April, in order to tighten the legislation against pollution to microplastics that invade rivers, beaches and oceans, which should enable this new regulation to be finally adopted within a few months.
