The European Union Strikes Deal with Israel for More Food and Fuel in Gaza

GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE, JUL 11 – The European Union and Israel agreed to expand aid deliveries amid severe food insecurity affecting two million people, with 90,000 children needing urgent treatment, UN agencies said.

DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip -- European officials struck a new deal with Israel to allow desperately needed food and fuel into Gaza, the European Union's foreign policy chief said Thursday as Israeli airstrike killed 10 children and five adults waiting for care outside a medical clinic.
