Estonian employers and trade unions have not reached an agreement on the minimum monthly wage (MMA), which was supposed to come into effect from the beginning of 2026 - employers are proposing to increase it by EUR 45, while unions are demanding EUR 105. With negotiations reaching an impasse, it is not ruled out that Estonians will only be able to decide on the MMA in the spring.
