United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in his response to a letter from the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Tufan Erhürman, regarding the obstruction of cultural, sporting, political and diplomatic activities of Turkish Cypriots, stated that "Actions that hinder the building of trust (in Cyprus) are discouraging."
