Turkey has delivered the first locally produced Altay tanks to its armed forces, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced at a delivery ceremony.
Today, the Turkish Armed Forces and the arms industry can boast of a major success, such as the ceremonial handover of the first production Altay tanks to the land forces and the official opening of the BMC factory in Ankara, where new tanks and other armored vehicles are produced.
