Envision Power, a major automotive battery manufacturer, announced on Wednesday that it will supply batteries for BMW's new all-electric iX5. Envision Power will provide high-capacity batteries produced at its factories in Jiangsu and Hebei provinces. The electric version of the BMW iX5 is planned to go on sale in Europe and the United States in 2027, and Envision Power will simultaneously launch its electric vehicle program.
