Residents reminded not to handle, feed or relocate wildlife

The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is reminding the public to leave wild animals or birds undisturbed in their natural habitat. This includes animals that are dead, injured, sick or newborn wildlife, or wildlife thought to be abandoned or orphaned. DAERA urges public to protect Northern Ireland’s marine wildlife with new coastal guidance

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is calling on the public to act responsibly around Northern Ireland’s coasts by following newly issued guidance on preventing disturbance to vulnerable marine and coastal wildlife.
