Enhance Elmore tax plan overwhelmingly defeated at the polls

Elmore County voters have overwhelmingly voted no to the Enhance Elmore tax plan. With nearly 97% of the votes counted, unofficial results show 93% of voters said no to raising taxes, compared to 6.5% who voted yes. The raw vote total was 12,038 no votes to 843 yes votes.
