Encinitas to Seek Designs for Three Traffic Safety Projects

Pedestrian and bicycle safety projects planned for three major city thoroughfares can move into the design phase with some modifications, the Encinitas City Council unanimously decided Wednesday. However, a decision on a fourth project—a proposed crosswalk on South Coast Highway 101 near the northern edge of Solana Beach—will have to wait until the City Council's November 12 meeting.
