Encinitas animal shelter opens new hospital, remodeled campus

A new 5,000-square-foot animal hospital is set to be unveiled at a community celebration on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. The $16 million project that started nearly two years ago includes expansion of several buildings on the five-acre campus that opened in 1960.
