A male European moose, a protected species, has been migrating through the Czech Republic for over a month. It moved from the Ostrava region to the Zlín region. People last saw it yesterday in Uherský Brod. Details about the ungulate's journey and the traps it faces are described in an interview by Václav Hlaváč from the Nature and Landscape Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic.
Moravian-Silesian Region, Zlín Region and now Slovácko Region. A European moose migrating through the Czech Republic appeared in another region on Monday when it arrived near Uherský Brod. The animal, nicknamed Emil, even swam in the Olšava River.
A young European moose was caught on video again on Monday morning, this time in Těšov. The young moose jumped into the Olšava River for a morning swim before setting off again. The video of the wandering mammal was shared on his Facebook account by the mayor of Uherský Brod, Ferdinand Kubáník.
