Burnham emergency services called to Berrow Beach amid safety concerns
Emergency services sprang into action late on Saturday night (July 12th) following reports of several people in distress on Berrow Beach. At approximately 10.30pm, volunteers from BARB Search & Rescue, Burnham Coastguards and Burnham RNLI were called out to assist in a coordinated search effort. BARB sent two of its hovercrafts by road and joined Burnham Coastguards, Avon and Somerset Police, and Burnham RNLI at the scene for a shoreline search.…
