Election of the municipal council in Vienna: Problems? But not in Vienna

The SPÖ won the elections in Austria's capital, but its tactics could end up playing into the hands of the right-wing populist throughout the country.

Vienna today elected its municipal council, as well as the district council of the 23 districts. While some parties and top candidates could cheer on the first figures, other parties did not achieve their election goals.
