Authorities are searching for a woman who disappeared while hiking in the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve in Portola Valley. Margaret “Elaine” McKinley, a 79-year-old Redwood City woman, has dementia and became separated from her family while hiking and was last seen around noon Thursday, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. An elderly woman who was last seen hiking on Windy Hill Open Space Preserve on Thursday, May 1, is currently missing in Portola Valley, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
