A 70-year-old woman has drowned in the Nyakamba River in Ngabu, Chikwawa District. Police spokesperson for the district, Sergeant Dickson Matemba, said the deceased has been identified as Margaret Msusa from Malemia 1 Village under Traditional Authority Ngabu in the district.
