Kovalam: An elderly man who was undergoing treatment after being hit by a bike while crossing the road has died. Surendran Nair (69) of Kadayara Puthenveetil, Chavadinada, Venganur, has died. The accident took place near the Venganur junction at 7.15 pm last Tuesday. The accident occurred while crossing the road.
