Elderly couple dies in Moss Point house fire

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WLOX) — Two people died in a house fire Sunday afternoon. According to Fire Chief David Eaker, the fire department received a call about a house fire at Julia Circle around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters had to force themselves into the home, Eaker said. Firefighters were called to a home in the 3600 block of Julia Circle just after 3:30 Sunday afternoon. When crews arrived, the house was already heavily involved in smoke and flames.
