Ejidatarios of the Sierra Gorda adopt forest regeneration as a model of economic development

The ejido of Tejamanil, located in the Sierra Gorda de Querétaro has 1,300 hectares, of which 500 are part of the Querétaro Seal a forest conservation program promoted by the Grupo Ecológico Sierra Gorda (GESG) in collaboration with the state government, in which the owners and ejidatarios of these lands receive a payment in exchange for caring for their forest.
