EADaily, July 8th, 2025. The Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don arrested on July 28, inclusive, Mufti Ahmed Abusupyanov*, previously detained for extremism by FSB operatives, who negotiated with terrorists who seized the Rostov SIZO-1 in 2024, the joint press service of the courts in the region told reporters.

Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, received a high-level Palestinian delegation.
