Ed Sheeran has revealed that his iconic song Galway Girl nearly had a very different name. The English singer appeared on The 2 Johnnies podcast this week and shared the alternative names that he was debating giving to the hit. There is of course another song called Galway Girl, written by Steve Earle and later sang by Sharon Hannon and Mundy, that predates Ed’s 2017 release.
