ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - The Ector County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 800 block of Avenue K. There is no threat to the public at this time. The Texas Rangers and ECSO deputies remain on scene. The investigation is ongoing. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area to allow law enforcement to safely and effectively continue their work.
