Easter Ceasefire in Ukraine Marred by Ongoing Hostilities

Vladimir Putin did not give commands to extend the Easter truce, which will expire at midnight on April 21, TASS reported referring to the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

Vladimir Putin had ordered the Russian soldiers on Saturday to cease hostilities until midnight on the night of Sunday to Monday (23 hours on Sunday, French time).

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says the Russian president gave no indications that the truce should be extended. Still, Trump wants to create a secretariat for Israel and Palestine affairs.
