An 18-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a 46-year-old driver's car on Thursday evening in the East Tyrol Lienz. The accident occurred on the so-called "Liebherr" junction after the biker had disregarded the red light. The motorcycle, which was not registered for traffic, was thrown into a meadow 40 meters away. The slightly alcoholized handlebar came to lie next to it. He was taken to the Lienz District Hospital.
