At around 4:45 pm on the 7th, an earthquake measuring 3 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale was observed in Yonaguni Town, Ishigaki City, and Taketomi Town in Okinawa Prefecture. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was off the coast of Yonaguni Island, with a depth of approximately 100 kilometers.
