It started in Croatia, where the presidential elections were won in a landslide by Zoran Milanovic, known as the "Croatian Trump".
The largest opposition party in Croatia, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), is starting a party reconstruction after its poor performance in the recent local elections. According to the leadership, the renovation will be carried out at the local level, aiming to strengthen the SDP's position as an alternative to the ruling HDZ. It will start in the four largest cities - Zagreb, Split, Osijek and Rijeka.
Disciplinary proceedings have also been initiated against Željko Posavec for obstructing the campaign for county prefect.
