Early voting totals hit 3,966 for the first six days on Thursday, with 625 ballots being cast at all five polls. Whiteville had the most traffic, with 304 ballots cast. Chadbourn saw 96, followed by Ransom at 93, Tabor City at 83, and Fair Bluff at 49. Early numbers were up slightly Thursday from Wednesday’s ballots, when only 600 voters went to the early polls.
