A Dutch minehunter is heading to the Mediterranean at the end of this week for a NATO deployment, so that the naval ship can sail to the Strait of Hormuz in time once an agreement is reached on a mission there.
If necessary, the ship can help create safe passage for oil tankers and merchant vessels, Minister Yesilgöz writes to the House of Representatives.
