As part of the project to extend the Great Maritime Port of Dunkirk, a new excavation campaign was carried out between the summer of 2024 and the spring of 2025. A total of 6 hectares, spread over 6 excavations, were investigated, resulting in the acquisition of unpublished data on the polderization and medieval occupations of the former Denna estuary.
