Duncan man seriously hurt after being hit by truck
- A man was seriously injured after being struck by a semi truck while attempting to cross the Trans-Canada Highway on foot on March 23.
- The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP found an unconscious, breathing man on the ground after the collision at 9:39 p.m.
- The injured man, a 32-year-old Duncan resident, is currently in stable condition at the hospital with serious injuries.
- Police confirmed that criminality was not a factor in the crash, according to Staff Sergeant Kris Clark of the BC RCMP.
