A 54-year-old man was hospitalized Saturday morning after he lost control of a dump truck he was driving and crashed into a median wall in Tampa, according to FHP.

Dump Truck Overturns and Catches Fire on I-4 Access Road

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a crash that occurred at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025. According to investigators, a single-unit dump truck driven by a 54-year-old Tampa man was traveling westbound on the access road leading from U.S. 301 to westbound I-4 and U.S. 92 when the driver lost control.
