- Intoxicated after drinking at the airport, Blofield screamed "I'm savage, I drink JD" and told Polish cabin crew, "You can't tell me what to do, I'm English," subjecting passengers to "vile verbal aggression."
- Police officers boarded upon landing and arrested Blofield, who was so aggressive that staff removed him using an ambulift normally reserved for disabled passengers rather than standard aircraft stairs.
- Judge Euan Ambrose cited Blofield's 155 previous offenses across 56 court appearances, stating the incident cost Ryanair "tens of thousands of pounds" and declaring, "This is a case where only a custodial sentence can be justified.
