Recently, photos of animals being hit by cars have been circulating on social media. There is talk that this year there have been an unusually high number of animals being hit by cars. The Department of Environmental Protection confirms that collisions with animals are increasing, and the director of the Kaunas-based animal shelter "Nuaras" says that this is due to a decrease in the hunting of certain species of animals.
