Driver rescued after car crashes into canal in Tamarac

A driver was rescued on Tuesday after they drove their car into a canal in Tamarac, deputies said. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call about a car that went into a canal near the 8100 block of Northwest Once at the scene, deputies went into the water and rescued the driver. No one else was in the car. The condition of the driver was not released. An investigation into the incident continues.
