Driver fatally struck by gunfire hits car, home in Calumet Heights

A driver hit by gunfire Tuesday crashed into a car and house in Calumet Heights and died.Johnnie Jackson Jr., 18, was driving a Chevrolet about 3 p.m. in the 2800 block of East 93rd Street when he struck a vehicle and crashed into a house, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.Officials responding to the scene found him in the car with a gunshot wound in his back, police said.He was taken to University of Chicago Medi…
