An alleged intoxicated driver was arrested Wednesday in the death of a New Jersey construction worker, who was killed when the motorist struck him in July, according to authorities.Douglas Smith, 51, of Lakehurst, was charged with vehicular homicide, about a month after he allegedly was driving under the influence when he fatally struck 50-year-old Allen Adams, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said.
